How to care for crocodile leather?
When not in use, it is recommended to keep your Alligator leather product stored in a cool, dry place. You can stuff the belts with newspaper to prevent wrinkling while it is stored. Because crocodile skin is a natural leather, do not leave your crocodile handbag exposed to direct sunlight, as the leather will dry out, crack and fade, losing its natural sheen.
A good cleaning solution for crocodile leather?
Cleaning crocodile leather should be done with a soft cloth to prevent scratches. Water can be used in limited amounts, but should be placed on the cloth, not directly on the leather. A horsehair brush may also be used to clean between the leather scales. If your crocodile leather belt gets dirty, you can use warm water and a clean, uncolored cotton rag. For stubborn stains, there are crocodile-specific leather cleaners and conditioners available. Do not use any chemicals or household cleaners on crocodile leather2. As was the case with leather cleaning, you will need to use a leather conditioner specifically designed for reptile or crocodile leather care, or other compatible leather conditioner. Always test your leather conditioner first before using it on the entire item.
